In the summer when you see flowers and trees everywhere then the beetles and ladybugs have the places to live and eat in the gardens and other green places. But when the season of fall began the all kinds of the pests try to hide themselves in the warm places so that they can live and pass the cold season easily. When the fall season start ladybugs try to move towards the lower areas and also try to find the places in our houses. Though there are some ladybugs which are really beautiful but some of them have the very bad look and you just do not want to see them especially when they are in huge numbers. It is a fact that regular ladybugs when try to find the shelter then they move in huge numbers and you just want to get rid of them. Now you must be thinking that how ladybugs enter in the house so they can enter from the cracks and small holes because these are really tiny in size and do not need much space for entering the house.

The number of the ladybugs has been increased because these are released by the government of the America so that they can eat the harmful insects which can harm the plants and other fields. These are really good for the plants and fields because they do not eat the plants but the insects which eat the plants. Also, if you think that there are ladybugs in house then you do not need to be worried because they do not harm anything in your house. Like some people think that these can harm the carpet and other fabricated furniture which is totally wrong they just need to pass the winter and they just find the wholes for this. They also do not harm the wooden doors and do not make wholes in the walls.

It is surprising why anyone would want to comfortably live with an insect, whatever the kind, climbing all over the house and causing harm yet they can easily carry them out to the wild and let them be free there. As shocking as it is, man has over the years found a special bond with a type of beetles and the result is that of keeping ladybugs in house.

Behind this phenomenon is the collective belief that is shared by many around the world that these creatures possess a rare ability to bring luck and goodwill to anyone who encounters them. Although different explanations are given to their presence in the end they all lead to the same idea of luck.

For example, the spotted wing cases are linked to amounts of fortune, the higher the number of spots that is then the more the amount of wealth one will enjoy. This is a belief that is held by many farmers around the world whereby counting the black dots on this insect found in the fields gives an indication of how big the yield will be. It is however not all about good since numbers of spots exceeding seven are considered fatal and are said to lead to poor harvest.

Keeping ladybugs in house is also linked to the ancient myth that the first of these creatures was created by the goddess of love and then brought to the earth to share the rare gift. Old folklores talk of how the earth changed to a love scene and many were married within days of being walked on by it. It is for this reason that these beetles are used to predict who a girl will get married to by simply following their climbing movements to the next male, whoever it is then has to marry the said girl. In addition the creatures are used as confetti at the wedding instead of the traditional rice grains.

Also since these beetles feed on harmful aphids that destroy crop cover many households believe that this is a sign of bad luck going away. The removal of bothersome aphids is seen as a significant step to achieving good luck and fortune.

Another reason for this peculiar human behaviour is attributed to the notion that killing the insect or throwing it out of the house is an act of refusing blessings. Since these creatures are believed to be tokens of good luck then many people intentionally let them inhabit corners or other dark places in the house and as long as they remain there then so will their blessings follow them.
